Tulong Na, Tabang Na, Tayo Na

A dress-down look for a productive day. Shirt and jeans will never bring you down if you match it with the right shoes and accessories. Of course, simplicity is chic, just flaunt it to look good!
Typhoon Haiyan (Yolanda) brought devastation to our country. It was the strongest typhoon recorded in history. Billions of properties were down and thousands of people were dead. Many parts of Leyte were affected and as well as the northern part of my city where I lived in, Cebu. Basic necessities are needed for the people who survived. Hence, the whole Filipino community is reaching out to them for help including also other countries across the globe. In this tragic time, unity and faith must be strengthened. No other calamity would keep us away from God. And with our own little ways, we can make a difference.

Tulong na, Tabang na, Tayo na is the current advocacy of every Filipinos who think for the safety and welfare of our shattered kababayans.

Me? In my own little way I was volunteering myself for two consecutive days to repack the goods that will directly go to the damaged areas. I may haven't done anything big, but at least, I helped and contributed to the society and was able to change lives.

Me and Jou Anne (blogger bestie) helped tying the sacks full of relief goods.

After that, Merjj came and enjoyed the rest of the day!

Lots of goods were able to send to Medellin that day to provide them assistance. The repacking of the goods didn't take too long because of some volunteers and officers who were present that day to help.

Me and my batchmates in school! (sorry for the shaky shots!)
